About Poochie Pathways

Poochie Pathways was born because my love of dogs and the outdoors finally led me to do a job I adore and at the same time be able to offer a solution to make other pet owners' lives less stressful!

 I know first hand how hard it can be to juggle work, holidays and days out with caring for your dogs and pets. Finding someone reliable you can trust to take care of them in your absence is not always easy.  

I have owned dogs all my life, always rescue dogs apart from one very patient beautiful Golden Retriever called Jewel, who always took the newcomers under her wing and made them feel at home. 

My three current babies have all come over from a small Spanish rescue and all have their own issues, one being very reactive to other dogs, so I am very experienced at managing reactive and nervous dogs, which I know can sometimes be a consideration when trusting somebody to cope with these issues.  

I have never felt comfortable leaving my dogs or cats in kennels or catteries, it works for many people but it just wasn't for me - so I would have loved to have someone over the years that would have stayed in my house with the dogs, meaning they could stay in their own environment to reduce the stress they felt  with us being away.  So now I would love to be able to give other families that reassurance while they are away from home and their pets.

So from quick pop-in visits, to long country dog walks, to moving in to look after your fur babies in their own home while you have a break, or even just a day out let me give you that peace of mind at last.

 I can promise you they will be loved as if they were my own.

We offer individual and small group dog walks, on lead or off lead as you prefer.  We are very happy to walk all breeds of dog, large or small and in fact have a lot of experience with large excitable dogs of our own!

  Overnight pet sitting or pet sitting by the hour in your own home for dogs, cats and small animals is offered, as well as short pop in visits for feeding and garden breaks.

  I can also offer a pet taxi service and all services can be completely tailored to suit your needs. 

We offer a free of charge Pre-Service Visit at a time to suit you, where we will meet you and your pets and have a chat to make sure we understand exactly what will be best for your situation.

At Poochie Pathways, we are committed to providing a safe, fun and loving experience for your pets.

 I am fully insured, DBS background checked and pet first aid trained (all certificates can be provided upon request).

As well as having past experience working in dog kennels, I carry out home checks for a small dog rescue and am a lifelong animal lover. 

Your pets' safety and happiness will be my priority while they are in my care, looked after as if they were my own. Any dogs in my care who are walked off lead, at their owners request, will wear a PitPat GPS Dog Tracker, just for added peace of mind, mine as well as yours! I am honest, reliable and trustworthy and I very much look forward to providing you with a top class service.
