Some animals suffer from anxiety in a kennel or cattery environment, it just doesn't suit all pets, and worrying about them being stressed is not a good recipe for you to relax while you are away!
By booking our pet sitting services, your fur babies will be cared for in their own home, meaning their regular feeding & exercise routines will not be disrupted and being surrounded by familiar sights, sounds & smells means their stress levels at being apart from you will be kept to a minimum.
If you have more than one pet, or different types of pets, it can also make much more financial sense to have somebody move in and look after them all together rather than board them all separately.
As added security, your home remains lived in while you are away and we are happy to water plants, take the rubbish bins out and of course keep the house clean & tidy. Our vehicle will not have any indication on it that we are pet sitting and therefore not advertise the fact you are away.
Your home will always be respected and you will return to find it in a condition you would expect to.
Dogs will receive a 1 hour walk per day and we will carefully follow all instructions regarding when cats are to be let outside, or keep them inside if they are house cats. Exercise for smaller caged pets can be discussed at the pre-service visit and we are happy to handle them or not, whatever your preference is.
Please note that dogs will need to be able to be left for up to a maximum of 4 hours at a time so that other dog walking commitments can be met, however we will always do our best to keep your dog's routine as unchanged as possible.
If you need a service whereby your dog is not left alone at all, we can discuss this and advise of the extra costs involved.
Overnight cat sitting will generally mean that we will stay in the house overnight, be there in the morning and evening for feeding times etc, however your cats may be left during the day for longer periods than we would leave a dog for example. Again if you need a service whereby the cats are not left alone, please advise so we can discuss extra costs involved.
We take security very seriously and therefore all house keys will be returned to you in person, never through a letterbox, and house alarms, if any, will always be set according to instructions whenever the house is left.
